After the abrupt season end, due to Covid-19, the most successful COOP FIS Cross-Country athletes had to wait for their recognition. Especially the sprint athletes needed to be patient until receiving their medals and globes. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo finally received his trophy for the Sprint World Cup 2019/20 victory as well as his medal for the second rank in the Overall World Cup ranking.

Congratulations Johannes! We are already looking forward to many strong, tactical and fair fights out there on the FIS World Cup stage.

🏆@johanneshk finally received his well deserved trophy as the Sprint World Cup winner 2019/20: * "Finally! Here's proof the I won the Sprint World Cup last season. Althought the Sprint globe is nice, I am missimg the Overall trophy.. I think it ended up in Russia by mistake this time. Next year, I want it back! Well actually, I want both of them in the upcoming season." * Good luck Johannes, we are looki g forward to great racing out there again! #fiscrosscountry

The awards have come a long way - from Canada and USA. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the handover took a long time but has not lost any of it's value. A recognizion for all the hard work, passion and commitment that is put into Cross-Country skiing.

The COOP FIS Cross-Country World Cup would also thank our Title sponsor Coop Norge and our Presenting sponsor @audi for your support and passion for the sport!
