Johannes Høsflot Klæbo set out for his 9th individual distance victory at todays 15km C at Ruka Nordic. With a clear margin of 15.2 seconds, he wins before Russian Alexey Chervotkin for whom his second rank marks his first World Cup podium and a milestone in his career.

Klæbos win comes rather unexpected. After his second place in the Sprint C of the previous day however, he focussed on performing at his best as it laid the base for tomorrow's final of the Ruka Triple Mini Tour and the pursuit starting order. Alexander Bolshunov takes the remaining spot on the podium, 18 seconds behind the winner. Throughout the race, Emil Iversen and Iivo Niskanen had taken over the pace setter roles but in the end lost time to Bolshunov who gained precious eight seconds on the last kilometers. Iversen misses the podium by 1.8 seconds. Niskanen, who celebrated his victory in the 15km C the previous year, finishes 3.7 seconds behind the podium.

Top-10 highlight: Andrew Musgrave impresses with taking the sixth rank and thus doubling up his strong performance from yesterdays Sprint.
