The team selections for the Norwegian elite teams are out. The Ski Federation made some cuts in the number of  the mens Allround and Sprint team which now consists of total 12 athletes. Missing amongst the top athletes is 35 year-old Martin Johnsrud Sundby, the experienced former team captain who now faces the preparation for the upcoming season by himself.

As a new member Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget enters the Allround team and Johannes Høsflot Klæbo switches back to his Sprint colleagues. A new name in the Sprint team but a name that was listed multiple times amongst the top ranking this past season enters with Håvard Solås Taugbøl.

Also the female team sees a cut in the number of athletes from 12 to 10. The aspiring 18 year-old Marie Helene Fossesholm enters the elite team whereas previous members Marie Eide as well as Kari Øyre Slind have not been selected this time.
