A strong Swedish Sprint team was lined up for todays Sprint C in Falun. Linn Svahn (SWE) doubles up on her impressive Sprint performances this season. After Ruka, Val Müstair and Val di Fiemme, the 21 year-young Swede claims her next victory in a Sprint race. Challenged by team colleague Jonna Sundling (SWE) and Sprint World Cup leader Anamarija Lampic (SLO), Svahn had to ski the perfect line to hit the top of the rankings.

Key to success was not just fast skis but to manage to ski fast: "Its a course where you really have to pull everything out and to take everything you can into the next section. I had super fast skis today and I could follow my plan which brought me to win today," concludes Svahn after the race.

Second placed Anamarija Lampic ended in a photo finish with Sundling but was rather astonished about her performance today: "Already yesterday was really hard for me because I was suffering from the start. I was not sure in what shape I was and also in qualification I had really stiff legs so I thought that today was maybe not my day. But when I ended in 9th place in the quali I got new motivation - and 9 is my lucky number - so I knew I could fight to the very end and it was worth it."
