Warm up for the FIS Roller Skiing World Cup Otepää, EST

On Thursday, 20th August 2020, FIS Roller Skiing athletes gathered in South Estonia. Athletes from six different nations used the warm up day to compete in the FIS Roller Ski World Cup event. This is the first time this kind of event is happening in Estonia.

The first official competition was scheduled for the following day as Sprint C at Tehvandi Sport Centre.

An attractive competition schedule awaits athletes, spectators and organizers. In addition to the Sprint C on Friday, there will be mass start on Saturday in Tartu and on Sunday 10 km classical race for women and 15 km classical race for men. Nearly 100 competitors signed up for the World Cup race.  The organizers will provide Rollerskis for the competitors on Friday and on Sunday. The Rollerskis are from the Norwegian official partner FF SKI. On Saturday mass start the competitors must use their own skis.

The international competitions are the best way to participate on the world class competitions. Spectators do not need tickets as admission is free.
