Dario Cologna announces his final season

A press release by Swiss Ski has revealed that four-time Olympic gold medalist and Switzerland’s figurehead of Cross-Country skiing, will retire after the upcoming winter season.

Cologna has chosen to announce this milestone ahead of the season to be able to focus fully on the competitions during the upcoming months. The Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in February 2022 will be Cologna’s fourth Games and his ambitions are high.

With Dario Cologna, one of the greatest skiers of his generation will leave the FIS Cross-Country stage. We are looking forward to accompany Dario in his final World Cup season 2021/22.
