First ROL World Cup 2021 completed

Linn Soemskar crosses the finish line of the uphill race - by Flavio Becchis

The season's first Rollerski World Cup is in the books. Banska Bystrica in Slovakia was an excellent host to the FIS Rollerski family during the busy race weekend. Three race days with four categories each went by without any incidents but a lot of emotions and joy.

After Friday's Sprint day and Saturday's Distance competitions in the town of Banska Bystrica, the final day on Sunday was ready with a 10km hillclimb to the town of Kordiky. With two sunny and hot days ahead, Sunday's awaited with wet weather and colder temperatures. Defeating the weather was no problem however for the worlds Rollerski elite as they paced their way to the hills and crossed the finish line with a smile.
