In the mens U20 Relay, Norway remained untouched in the lead and takes the World Champion title with a margin of 20 seconds. The fight for the remaining podium spots was a spectacular one as Team Germany and Russia was on the heels of the leaders, chased by Finland and Italy as they launched into the race after the final exchange. Germany could not keep up the increased pace and so the fight for the podium spots rested among the anchors of Finland, Italy and Russia. Heading back into the stadium, Finland pulled away and left Italy and Russia launch for the remaining podium spot, which was taken by Italy, 0.1 seconds before Russia.
