Introducing the COOP Mini World Cup season 2021/22

The one-month countdown to the FIS Cross-Country World Cup season 2021/22 has begun. With the traditional start in Ruka (FIN), the world elite of Cross-Country will gather again for a very special season as the upcoming Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in February mark its highlight.

But not only the current generation of Cross-Country athletes has fantastic races to look forward to. With the COOP Mini World Cup, already the next generation of skiers is introduced to racing along the World Cup.

The Mini World Cup was introduced in the season 2018/19 in collaboration with COOP Norway as the title Sponsor of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup. With the goal of introducing children to Cross-Country skiing whilst experiencing World Cup athletes up close.

In the season 2021/22 the Mini World Cup will stop at 11 FIS Cross-Country World Cup stages including:
Ruka (FIN), Lillehammer (NOR), Davos (SUI), Dresden (GER), Lenzerheide (SUI), Oberstdorf (GER), Val di Fiemme (ITA), Les Rousses (FRA), Lahti (FIN), Oslo (NOR) and Falun (SWE).

In Davos, the Mini World Cup is connected to the Daehli kids event and will celebrate its 20 year anniversary. Around 450 children are expected to join.
Over the past years, COOP Norway together with Le Gruyère AOP and Audi have expanded the concept of the Mini World Cup to be present at more destinations.

As part of the Snow Kidz Tour, all events for kids can be found on snowkidz.com.
