On 1st August, Worldloppet started into a new season with the "Kangaroo Hoppet Do It Your Way". Like the previous year, also the anniversary edition of the famous race has to be held in a virtual edition. Until 29th August everybody around the globe can join the Australian Worldloppet race in its 30th anniversary year. The on-snow event in Falls Creek will take place on 28th August, when Kangaroo Hoppet is celebrating it's 30th birthday!

Participation in the virtual Hoppet is easy: Enter online, choose your preferred exercise (walking, running, cycling, mountain biking, skiking, roller skiing or even cross country skiing) over a 42km, 21km or 7km route of your choice. You will recive a printable bib a small present (bandana) and a certificate.

With the Ushuaialoppet and Merino Muster, two more Worldloppet events in the southern hemisphere await in the next few weeks. As the on-snow event in Argentina had to be cancelled, Ushuaialoppet will take place virtuallyJoin the virtual challenges online and become part of the prestigious Worldloppet family!

Merino Muster in New Zealand is going to take place on 4th September as a on-snow event with local participants only as travelling to New Zealand still is very restricted. For all who have to stay at home, Merino Muster goes online too and offers virtual racing from 16th August to 12th September.

2nd season for the Worldloppet Virtual Racing League

These three virtual events are opening the second season of the Virtual Racing League. All virtual events, organized by Worldloppet members (plus a few selected partner events), are forming the Virtual Racing League. All sportsmen who are joining and finishing seven virtual challenges get the title Virtual Racer (certificate to download and a Finisher T-Shirt are available). Everybody can join the league and share experiences.
