After a busy and successful 17th edition of the COOP FIS Tour de Ski performance by Le Gruyère AOP, the FIS Cross-Country World Cup family takes a weekend break from international competitions.

On 21st and 22nd January, the third period of the World Cup season 2022/23 gets underway in the Italian resort of Livigno. An individual Sprint and Team Sprint will have the worlds fastest Cross-Country skiers on the start line. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, current leader of the Overall and Sprint World Cup is likely on the line-up for the Norwegian team and takes up the challenges against Italian Sprint superstar Federico Pellegrino and his team colleague Simone Mocellini, who has hit his maiden World Cup podiums in the Classic Sprints of Beitostølen and Val di Fiemme.

Will the 24 year-old World Cup rookie strike again on his home court?
