End of Jonas Dobler's international career
Apr 26, 2023·Cross-CountryJonas Dobler has completed his last ski race at top level this season and chose non less than the legendary 50km at Holmenkollen for this final milestone of his career. The 31-year-old from SC Traunstein in Germany was number sixteen in his final international top level race and was greeted by his team with Chapagne and celebrations in the finish.
The real highlight for Dobler came a few days earlier. At the World Ski Championships in Planica (SLO), he took the bronze medal in the relay together with his team mates Albert Kuchler, Janosch Brugger and Friedrich Moch. It was his first international medal and title of his career.
Jonas Dobler has participated in two Olympic Winter Games and a total of five World Ski Championships.
At the German championships he won gold twice, silver three times and bronze six times.
