The TD´s are getting ready for the season

In October there was two TD seminar that took place. One was held in the 2023 WSC venue in Planica (SLO) and one in Oslo (NOR). This is an very important job so that we can develope our sport further. There was lectures that was held on FIS news that included, update on rules with analysis, videos and best practices on course preparation. Jury work that also includes rollerski competitions. Field work in the venue and work in groups have been part of the sessions, and for the very first time during a FIS TD seminar Para Nordic World was introduced and included.

60 FIS TDs and FIS TD candidates from 10 nations from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland and with guest from both Sweden and Croatia took part in the two sessions. And 2 new FIS TD from Italy and Switzerland got their licence, while 10 new candidates joined the family.

Among the 7 speakers, the cross-country FIS Race director Michal Lamplot and the IBU Race director Borut Nunar - for a "crossover session” done in order to provide food for thought to the participants. Last time the "outsider" was the Formula 1 steward and former pilot Emanuele Pirro.

In Oslo the TD meeting included over 40 people from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Island, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania.

FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 
The seminar in Planica was supported by the WSC Organization Committee which introduced the venu, the courses and all the preparations that has been done before the participants will happend in February.
