Rollerski season in full swing

With the Blinkfestivalen coming up from 31st of July to 6th of August, the Rollerski competition season goes into full swing. We can already look back at one weekend in Madona, where the Rollerskiing World Cup took place. Now we have a lot of weekends with competitions to look forward to.

  • Blink (NOR) 31-3 august

As previous years the Blink festival starts up with the traditional “Lysebotn Opp” race. A 7.5km track with an altitude difference of 640m. Continuing with the Blink Classics on Thursday, an event that goes over 50km, on Friday there will be held an 10km Mass Start. Ending it all on Saturday with a Sprint in the streets of Sandnes. Over 20 international skiers is coming to Sandnes this week, taking place in the 19th edition of the Blink festival.

The Blinkfestival in Sandnes is set to feature an impressive lineup of participants this year as the previous years. Almost the entire Norwegian national team has confirmed their attendance, ensuring strong local representation. The Italian team will also be present, adding to the competitive field.

In the women's category, notable athletes include Ebba Andersson, Sophia Laukli, and Nadine Fähndrich.

The men's field is equally star-studded, featuring top athletes such as Iivo Niskanen, Mika Vermeulen, Andrew Musgrave, and Lucas Chanavat.

  • Toppidrettsveka (NOR) 14-18 august

The event will be hosted in multiple locations across Norway, including Aure, Hitra, and ending it all with two days in this winter World Championship venue, Granåsen.

  • Alliansloppet (SWE) 23 august og 25 august.

The Alliansloppet is a rollerski event held in Trollhättan, Sweden, as part of the Trollhättan Action Week. It goes over 8 days, ending it with three Rollerskiing competitions.

  • Nordic Weekend Andermatt (SUI) 23-25 august

    Three days with competition located in Andermatt, Switzerland.

    • August 23 (Friday): The weekend kicks off with cross-country ski race at the Realp Rollerski track.

    • August 24 (Saturday): A challenging mountain run from the Göschenen power station to Andermatt, coinciding with Cancellara Day, takes place. The run includes a special segment known as "Hit the Peak," featuring a demanding ascent.

    • August 25 (Sunday): The weekend concludes with another cross-country ski race at the Realp Rollerski track.

  • Martin Fourcade Festival (FRA). 30-1 september

The Martin Fourcade Festival is an annual event that takes place in the heart of Annecy, France. A three day event starting of with an concert and an athletes presentation on Friday, following up with competitions on Saturday and kids races on Sunday.

The Cross Country athletes will soon be revealed, it will be interesting to see what athletes, will join this years Martin Fourcade Festival.
