Feb 08, 2025·Cross-CountrySCHILPARIO (ITA) - The two Norwegian juniors once again showcased their dominance in Schilpario, this time in the interval start. Their victory seemed inevitable, leaving the real battle to be fought for silver and bronze.
And a fight it was! In the men's race, Davide Negroni (ITA) delivered a strong performance, securing silver for Schilpario and the host nation, Italy. The battle for bronze was incredibly tight, with Jakob Elias Moch (GER) edging out Filip Skari (NOR) by just 0.5 seconds to claim the final podium spot.
In the women's race, no one could challenge Milla Andreassen (NOR), who secured her second gold and third medal of the championships with another dominant performance. The battle for silver and bronze was much more unpredictable, with positions shifting throughout the race. In the end, Anna Endress (GER), wearing bib number 23, crossed the line to claim silver, surprising both herself and the competition. Alison Mackie (CAN) repeated her success from the mass start, earning another bronze for Canada.
