The spotlight was shifted to the U23 athletes, when they were doing Sprint in the same courses as Monday in Schilpario. And on the start list there was a lot of familiar names that we have already seen attending on the World Cup.

One of those athletes is Maertha Rosenberg, who displayed incredible strength throughout the day. She dominated the qualification round, winning by an impressive margin of nearly eight seconds. And both in the Quarterfinal and Semifinal there was no doubt that the Swedish women was going to the finals. In the finals she was competing against last years winner in the junior Sprint Gina Del Rio. Two Norwegians womens and one Italian. But there was nothing anyone could do with Rosenberg, secures the first gold to Sweden and gets her teammate Elin Henriksson with here on the podium when she races in to the bronze. Gina Del Rio has another strong Championship and can take the silver medal home to Andorra.

It feels very fun, I had an amazing day and I am so happy. Maerta Rosenberg

The men's final featured several familiar names, including Sweden’s Måns Skoglund and his teammate Anton Grahn. Norway's Jørgen Schjølberg was the sole Norwegian in the race, joined by Elias Keck (GER), Jiri Tuz (CZE), and Ivan Essonier (FRA), who had all secured their spots in the final.
But the day belonged to Sweden—and to Anton Grahn. He took the lead in the final and never looked back, securing Sweden’s second gold of the day. His teammate Måns Skoglund followed closely, claiming the silver, while Norway’s Jørgen Schjølberg secured the bronze.

Feels very good, It has been an amazing day, my skiis was good, I have amazing teammates. Yeah, everything just feel amazing. Anton Grahn
