Most countries are slowly reopening their activities and borders as we are returning to a more normal life, always respecting social distancing and using the necessary precautions.

The good news is that some glaciers and ski resorts have reopened - some exclusively - for national teams to start training again. After a long wait, our athletes are finally back on snow.

The Austrian men's and women's teams headed to Soelden to put their skis back on.

One step further every day 😉 #weareskiing

The Italian team has reached an exclusivity agreement with Stelvio glacier in order to train privately and stay overnight at Hotel Livrio from the beginning of June.

E comunque, dopo quattro mesi, é tanto bello essere di nuovo qui ♥️ Immersa nel bianco sotto un cielo azzurro , il lavoro da fare é tanto tantissimo: voglio metterci - e ci metto!- tutta me stessa 🌷

The German team also joined the Italians on Stelvio Glacier at the end of their training camp to enjoy the first days on snow!

The Swiss team is making the most of the Zermatt Glacier to start preparing the new season and the French team can enjoy lower ski resorts, Courchevel and Val D'Isere, where snow conditions are still good.

Finally, Norway and Sweden have been taking advantage of glaciers in their home countries since the beginning of May.

Come on and follow me for a run⛷️❄️

Seeing our athletes back on snow, in their natural environment, is the first step of a gradual process to hopefully go back to normality and enjoy another World Cup season starting in October.
