Perrine Pelen, Managing Director of the Courchevel Méribel 2023 Organising Committee said:

"Today, with 100 days to go, it is a very symbolic moment for the entire Courchevel Méribel 2023 Organising Committee. Five years ago, our bid beat Austria. Today, the French mountains are just over three months away from hosting the Alpine World Ski Championships for the fourth time in its history. We can look back on how far we have come, focusing on the final details to offer the world a fantastic celebration.

Like all ski-lovers, we can't wait.”

Laurent Wauquiez, President of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region said:

"As a great mountain region, we had a duty to be part of these World Ski Championships. To prepare for them, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region wanted to support the municipalities of Courchevel and Méribel. The aim is to ensure that these investments are made long-term and benefit our Alpine areas after these championships. This competition is also a great opportunity for the professionals of our mountains to promote our resorts. Only 100 days to go before our mountains are seen by the eyes of the world. What a source of pride!"
