The prelude to the moguls season is never complete without the buzz that surrounds the stalwart of the sport, Mikael Kingsbury. This year, before the moguls season kick-starts in Ruka in December and the World Cup team embarks towards Idre in November for their pre-season preparation, the Canadian Team has opted for a unique and vigorous training ground - Corralco, Chile. Notably, Corralco has also played host to several ski cross and snowboard cross training camps for the world's premier teams, providing an optimal training landscape.

As per tradition, all eyes gravitate toward Mikael Kingsbury, the indomitable "King of Moguls". The anticipation and expectations are sky-high, as the mogul skiing maestro is all set to weave his magic in yet another exhilarating season.

Closing the 2022/23 season, Kingsbury not only marked his career's 80th victory in the final competition but also achieved his second moguls hat trick. He swept all three titles of the moguls, dual moguls, and moguls overall crystal globes for the season. Moreover, his accolades were adorned with two World Championships medals, capturing his eighth World Championships title and an unprecedented sixth consecutive gold medal. This laudable achievement crowned him as the first-ever FIS double World Champion for three consecutive times.

Before Kingsbury embarks on his 15th World Cup campaign in December, let’s shift our focus to his latest video, crafted in collaboration with Lost Aerials FPV, which offers us a tantalizing view into his pre-season preparation. The follow-cam shots in this video are not just visually stunning but are a testament to the raw, unbridled energy and rigorous training that is going into gearing up for the upcoming season. Every curve, flip, and meticulous maneuver captured in the video reverberates with the undying spirit and commitment of Kingsbury towards the sport.
