Audi - FIS Title Sponsor Alpine
International winter sports have become firmly established in Audi’s sports commitment over the past decades and provide an ideal stage for presenting the sportiness, technology and dynamism of the premium brand to a worldwide audience.
The brand with the four rings has been supporting the Audi FIS Ski World Cup as title sponsor for 22 years and has extended the agreement with FIS until 2026. Audi was involved in the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships as presenting sponsor seven times in total and was the principal sponsor of the 2019 competitions in Åre (Schweden) as well as in Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy) in 2021. In addition, Audi has been lending its name to the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup since 2011 until 2022.
Audi not only views its role as that of a financial supporter but also as a partner of associations, athletes, media and events. For more than 35 years, AUDI AG has been the principal sponsor of the German Ski Association including all national teams, as well as a sponsor and vehicle partner of 13 other nations. Some of these teams benefit from Audi’s technical know-how: The athletes regularly train at the Audi Wind Tunnel center in Ingolstadt.
