Ida Marie Hagen secured the first World Cup victory of her career at the women’s Individual Compact premiere in Ramsau (AUT) today.

After the Ski Jumping part, Gyda Westvold Hansen was in the lead, after reaching 94.5 meters and collecting 133.3 points, on the WM-Schanze HS98.

Rank 2 after jumping went to Svenja Würth from Germany, who landed at 94 meters (122.3 pts) and started the race 6 seconds after Hansen due to the fixed starting times in the Compact format.

Ida Marie Hagen from Norway (92.5 mts, 122.1 pts) placed third, 12 seconds behind her team mate.
The furthest distance of the day was reached by Haruka Kasai with 97 meters (121.7 pts), who placed fourth.

Due to the short time gaps, Hagen managed to catch up to Hansen already on the first uphill.
The Norwegians went into the final lap together, while Hagen only had a slight lead of 1.5 sec over Hansen at the 2.5km mark.
Meanwhile, a tight fight for the third podium spot happened, with Haruka Kasai (+35 sec), Lena Brocard (+35.3 sec) and Minja Korhonen (+35.6 sec) passing the intermediate together.
As well as a strong Lisa Hirner (+37.7 sec), who was 12th after Ski Jumping, climbing up rank by rank throughout the race.

On the long climb, the current Best Skier Hagen showed her strength and pulled away, creating a solid gap of 13.3 sec to Hansen after 3.7km.
At this point also Hirner (+51 sec) managed to overtake the other pursuers and went into the last kilometers on podium course.

Hagen managed to defend her lead until the finish line, being the first athlete to break Hansens (+3.4 sec) winning streak since March 2022, where the Overall World Cup leader didn’t finish a race.
Third place went to Lisa Hirner (+49 sec) in front of her Austrian home crowd.
