Harsh weather forces postponements in Mammoth

Mammoth Mountain (USA) - It was another day of tough conditions in Mammoth with a boon of snow and high winds forcing additional changes in the competition program.
After calling off ladies’ qualifiers yesterday, the organisers and officials had to cancel also men’s qualifications today despite all the efforts from the working crew and a couple of hours spent on waiting for the weather to improve.
And while the conditions did in fact get better later during the day, there was simply not enough time left to run the full competition program and thus the men’s qualifications have been postponed until Saturday morning.
Also the ladies’ qualifications have been cancelled and moved to Sunday morning, with both ladies’ and men’s finals now also taking place on Sunday.
