When Krasnoyarsk was first confirmed as the 2021 JWCs host back in Novemeber, FIS Snowboard Assistant Race Director Peter Korgell stated, “We are very happy that the organizers of Krasnoyarsk decided to hold all Junior World Championship competitions at one venue. There had been discussions to spread the various disciplines around a couple of venues, but it was then decided that everybody, especially the athletes, would benefit most from the single-venue setting. The organizing committee is in full preparation mode and I am convinced we will see a fantastic, as well as safe, major event for our young athletes come March 2021. We would like to thank the organizers of Krasnojarsk 2021 for their hard work and big efforts to make this Junior World Champs possible."
