As winter enthusiasts feel the first hints of chill in the air, the freestyle community worldwide is abuzz with excitement. With only 50 days left on the calendar, the anticipation for the 2023/24 FIS Freestyle Moguls & Aerials World Cup is mounting!

The recent FIS fall meetings meeting brought forth several crucial updates and decisions for the skiing community. Yet, what truly sent the adrenaline pumping through the veins of freestyle fans was the confirmation of the calendar for the 2023/24 World Cup campaign.

This season promises nothing short of mesmerizing athleticism and edge-of-the-seat excitement. From gravity-defying aerial jumps to intricate moguls runs, each event is a testament to the skill, dedication, and passion of the athletes.

The world’s best freestyle skiers will navigate iconic terrains, from the Alpine majesties in Europe to North America's pristine snowscapes. Witness breathtaking demonstrations of agility, creativity, and sheer talent as athletes etch their names in the annals of skiing history.

Kicking off the celebrations will be the picturesque Ruka in Finland, hosting the inaugural moguls and aerials events for the 14th consecutive time on December 2-3. This will be followed by a thrilling duel in the moguls at Sweden's Idre Fjall on December 8-9. Ski enthusiasts will then be treated to moguls and dual moguls performances in Alpe d'Huez, France, and simultaneous aerial feats in Changchun, China, on December 15-16 – a return to the Chinese soil after the memorable Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. The December chapter concludes in Bakuriani, Georgia, which, fresh off the success of the 2023 World Championships, will feature moguls and dual moguls events on December 22-23.

As 2024 dawns, the action shifts to North America. The line-up includes moguls and dual moguls events in Val St Come, Canada, and Waterville, USA – with the latter debuting its brand new World Cup venue. Lac-Beauport, Canada, also gears up to host spectacular aerials events towards the end of January. The Deer Valley, USA, will then play host to a three-day freestyle extravaganza from February 1-3, with aerials, moguls, and dual moguls lighting up the slopes.

As winter starts its farewell in March, the action remains heated. Almaty's Shymbulak resort in Kazakhstan, known for the spectacular 2021 World Championships, will showcase aerials, moguls, and dual moguls competitions from March 8-10. The grand finale awaits at Chiesa in Valmalenco, Italy, with the season's concluding dual moguls event on March 16.

For fans and athletes alike, the upcoming season is not just about winning but celebrating the unyielding spirit of human determination and the magic of freestyle skiing. As we inch closer to the kick-off, the anticipation only grows. So, mark your calendars, gear up, and let's get ready to dive headfirst into the electrifying world of the 2023/24 FIS Freestyle Moguls & Aerials World Cup!
