Aerials Summer Grand Prix moves on to Utah Olympic Park

On August 26, the stage will be set to welcome some of the world's finest aerial athletes for the 2023 U.S. Freestyle Ultimate Airwave competition.
This exceptional event at the iconic water ramp venue promises an unforgettable experience for both enthusiasts and newcomers alike. With a captivating lineup that includes athletes from the Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team aerials roster, as well as talents from Canada, Switzerland, China, and Australia, the stage is set for an exhilarating display of aerial artistry.
Olympic champions Chris Lillis and Justin Schoenefeld, along with the reigning 2023 World Champion Quinn Dehlinger, are set to grace the skies and compete in an adrenaline-packed showdown.
What sets this event apart is its inclusivity and the chance for emerging talent to shine. A selection of athletes on the competition's start list earned their spots through the Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team Aerials Pipeline: Digital Combine, an initiative masterminded by GMTM. Young athletes across the nation submitted videos showcasing their aerial prowess, impressing U.S. national team coaches. Reviewed and scored by US Freestyle Judges from various regions, these extraordinary talents secured their spots among the elite. Five promising athletes embraced the invitation and will now leap alongside some of the world's best.
After Switzerland's captivating first water ramp event on August 19, where Canada's Marion Thenault and Switzerland's Noe Roth won respective women's and men's competitions, now we move on to the USA for the second leg of the FIS Freestyle Ski Grand Prix tour. And with Australia up next on the horizon, the excitement shows no signs of stopping.
