Quick Look: Continental Cups calendars for Moguls and Aerials - What's ahead in 2024

As the World Cup season gears up for its thrilling second segment with the North America tour next week, there's also significant excitement brewing for the Continental Cup competitions in 2024. These events are not just another series in the skiing calendar; they are a crucial platform where the future stars of the World Cup are honed and showcased. The Continental Cup serves as a vital stepping stone for athletes in moguls and aerials, offering them the opportunity to compete, gain experience, and make their mark before advancing to the more prestigious World Cup stage. This look into the Continental Cup's schedule for 2024 offers a glimpse into the future of skiing, highlighting the emerging talents and the venues that will shape the next generation of skiing champions.

European Cup

The European Cup has already kicked off with its first aerials event in December in Ruka. As we step into 2024, the focus shifts to a series of moguls and dual moguls events. The tour will begin with events in Sweden and Finland, featuring stops in Duved, Taivalkoski, Levi, and culminating in Stockholm. March brings more excitement with mogul events in Airolo and Megeve. Airolo is also set to host an aerials event in mid-March, leading up to the aerials finals in Chiesa in Valmalenco, Italy.

North American Cup

Crossing the Atlantic, the North American Cup tour will feature six locations - three in the USA and three in Canada. The action starts in February at Deer Valley, USA, and then moves to Canada, with events in Apex Mountain, Lac-Beauport, and Val St Come. The tour wraps up in early March with events at Stratton Mountain and Lake Placid, USA.

Asian Cup

The Asian Cup, with four events this season, began its aerials competition in mid-December at Changchun, China. Now, the focus is on moguls, with Japan hosting events in Fukushima, Hakuba, and Sapporo Bankei, scheduled from February 2 to March 2.

Beyond the Continental Cup

In addition to the Continental Cup, the FIS level is bustling with more than 18 different events for the 2023/24 season. These events are set to take place in diverse locations such as Austria, China, Sweden, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Korea, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
