The men’s Moguls qualifiers brought the heat today in Bakuriani, as athletes tackled the longest World Cup course on the circuit, stretching an impressive 280 meters. After an overnight snowstorm, the organizing committee had their work cut out for them, but thanks to a dedicated team effort, the course was prepped to perfection. With fresh snow and ideal conditions, the first day of competition went down in style.

Leading the charge was none other than Mikael Kingsbury, earning 81.19 points to secure the top spot. Close behind him was Matt Graham with 79.71 points, and rounding out the top-3 was Walter Wallberg, scoring 78.06.

The top-16 competitors from today’s event will move on to the finals on Friday, where even greater action is expected.
