Sneak Preview: 2024/25 FIS Freestyle World Cup Calendar

Following the tradition after the FIS Technical Committee Spring Meetings, which included a comprehensive agenda covering various reports from the 2023/24 season, proposals from various committees, and rule updates, the announcement that generated tremendous excitement within the freestyle community was the unveiling of the 2024/25 World Cup tour calendars. While these calendars are still subject to FIS Council approval next week at the FIS Congress in Reykjavik, we are thrilled to provide you with a first sneak peek at what’s in store for the moguls and aerials community.

Upcoming 2024/25 FIS Freestyle Moguls & Aerials World Cup Calendar

The 2024/25 FIS Freestyle Moguls & Aerials World Cup calendar promises a thrilling lineup of events that will challenge athletes and captivate audiences worldwide. From heart-stopping moguls runs to awe-inspiring aerial displays, each competition guarantees a spectacle of athleticism and precision. The season will build up to the pinnacle event at the 2025 Engadin World Championships.

Athletes from around the globe will compete at iconic venues throughout the season, showcasing their skills and creativity from the majestic peaks of the Alps to the snow-covered slopes of North America.

Season Kickoff and Early Competitions

The 2024/25 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup season will kick off for the 15th consecutive time in Ruka, Finland, with moguls and aerials competitions on November 29-30. Sweden will host moguls and dual moguls events at Idre Fjall on December 6-7. Alpe d'Huez, France, will showcase moguls and dual moguls on December 13-14. The final competition in December will be held in Bakuriani, Georgia, featuring moguls and dual moguls events on December 20-21.

North American Stretch

After the holiday break, the tour will move to North America, starting with an aerials comeback in Lake Placid, USA, hosting individual and team events on January 18-19. The moguls tour will resume in Waterville, USA, followed by aerials in Lac-Beauport, Canada, on January 25-26, featuring the inaugural aerials synchro team event. Val St. Come, Canada, will host a double event on January 31-February 1. The North American stretch will conclude with Deer Valley's annual extravaganza, featuring moguls, dual moguls, and aerials competitions on February 6-8.

Asian Leg

The tour will then travel to Asia, starting in Beidahu, China, for a full set of events on February 13-16, followed by Almaty, Kazakhstan, on February 21-23.

Final Leg in Europe

March will bring the final leg of the season, beginning in Chiesa in Valmalenco, Italy, with the dual moguls event on March 1, before moving to Livigno for an official Olympic test event in moguls, dual moguls, and aerials.

Season Pinnacle: 2025 Engadin World Championships

The season will culminate at the 2025 Engadin World Championships in St. Moritz in the last two weeks of March.
