U.S. Freestyle Ski Team unveils final roster for 2024-25 Season

U.S. Ski & Snowboard has officially announced the 30 athletes selected for the 2024-25 Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team, featuring top competitors in both moguls and aerials. The selection was made based on criteria from the freestyle moguls and aerials World Cup.

The aerials team is led by notable athletes including 2022 Olympic gold medalists Ashley Caldwell, Chris Lillis, and Justin Schoenefeld. They are joined by 2023 world champion Quinn Dehlinger and Winter Vinecki, who secured a second-place finish in the 2023-24 overall season standings.

On the moguls side, 2022 Olympic silver medalist Jaelin Kauf, who finished second overall in the 2023-24 season, headlines the roster. She is joined by Olivia Giaccio, who made history as the first woman to win a World Cup with a cork 1080, and Nick Page, who achieved three podium finishes last season.

New faces on the aerials A team include Karenna Elliott, Tasia Tanner, and Connor Curran, all of whom had breakthrough performances last season. Additionally, Kasey Hogg, Dylan Marcellini, and Landon Wendler have been promoted to the moguls A team, celebrating their impressive achievements from the previous year.

Matt Gnoza, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Freestyle Sport Director, expressed enthusiasm about the team's mix of experienced athletes and emerging stars. "The 2024-25 Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team is an extraordinary group of athletes who embody the spirit and excellence of American freestyle skiing," Gnoza said. "With a perfect blend of seasoned champions and rising stars, this team is poised to achieve great things in the coming season."

Aerials A Team: Ashley Caldwell, Karenna Elliott, Kaila Kuhn, Dani Loeb, Tasia Tanner, Winter Vinecki, Connor Curran, Quinn Dehlinger, Chris Lillis, Justin Schoenefeld

Moguls A Team: Olivia Giaccio, Kasey Hogg, Tess Johnson, Jaelin Kauf, Elizabeth Lemley, Alli Macuga, Hannah Soar, Dylan Marcellini, Nick Page, Landon Wendler

Development Team - Aerials: Kyra Dossa, Megan Smallhouse, Derek Krueger, Ian Schoenwald

Development Team - Moguls: Kai Owens, Sami Worthington, Cole McDonald, Asher Michel, Charlie Mickel, Dylan Walczyk

The moguls World Cup season will kick off in Ruka, Finland, on November 30, 2024. The aerials World Cup will start in Lake Placid, New York, on January 18, 2025. The season will also feature events in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, and will conclude with the Intermountain Health Freestyle International at Deer Valley from February 6-8, 2025.

After four months of top-tier action, the season will culminate in Engadin, Switzerland, with the 2025 FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships from March 18-30. This event will see four athletes per gender per sport representing the United States against the world’s best in a showcase of elite freestyle skiing.
