Just a day after she was named Rookie of the Year, Charlotte Wilson (AUS) showed why she deserved that accolade.

The 20-year-old closed her season on a high by taking the Dual Moguls event in Livigno, beating the circuit’s most in-form skier en route to the first World Cup win of her career.

Wilson skied brilliantly as she defeated Jaelin Kauf (USA) 22-13 for the prize. It was another clutch showing, coming shortly after she upset Moguls great Perrine Laffont (FRA) 18-17 in the semi-final en route to booking a place in the big final.

“I’m kind of lost for words,” said Wilson. “This is incredible, probably my best skiing this season. I’m just so happy.”

To be able to defeat Kauf in the American’s pet event made the victory even sweeter for Wilson.

"It was crazy to just be able to keep up with Jaelin, let alone win," she said.

In the small final, Frenchwoman Laffont was untroubled as she defeated Anastassiya Gorodko (KAZ) 25-10 to take third place at the Olympic test event.

Kingsbury just one shy of a century World Cup wins

In the men’s contest, the big final was a familiar face-off between two of the season’s top performers.

Despite crossing the finish line later, Mikael Kingsbury (CAN) took the final victory of the season as he defeated Ikuma Horishima (JPN) 20-15.

The Dual Moguls title of the 2025 season was the 29th Crystal Globe of Mikael Kingsbury's career.

The win – Kingsbury’s 99th career World Cup victory – was more than sufficient to solidify his place on the top of the World Cup Dual Moguls standings, completing a hat-trick of titles in the 2025 season.

With Dual Moguls making a debut at Milan-Cortina 2026, triumph on the Olympic course was all the more significant for the 2018 Olympic champion, who now has 29 career Crystal Globes.

Said Kingsbury: “It feels awesome. I knew it was a good course for me. I like steeper courses, I’ve always done better in them. It’s pretty tiring, when you ski finals, super finals. But I’m very happy I felt that my skiing was getting better and better.

Filip Gravenfors (SWE) took third place, beating Dylan Walczyk (USA) 23-12.

In the overall Dual Moguls standings, Horishima took second place with 440 points, behind Kingsbury who won the title with 544 points. Gravenfors was third with a 365 effort.

For the women, Kauf was well ahead of the pack as she finished on top with 660 points. Laffont was second with 440 points, while Japan’s Rino Yanagimoto (JPN) completed the top three with 385 points.

Meanwhile, the United States were awarded the Nations Cup for the best performance in Moguls and Dual Moguls.
