FIS Coaches' Seminar at APEX 2100 in Tignes (FRA)
Apr 30, 2024·Inside FISFIS successfully hosted its Coaches Seminar for the second consecutive year at the APEX 2100 facilities in Tignes, France. The seminar served as a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between FIS experts and enthusiastic coaches from 12 National Ski Associations: BUL, DEN, GEO, HUN, IRI, ISR, KAZ, LAT, LTU, MNE, TPE and UKR.
Comprehensive Training Programme
Similar to the previous edition, the seminar featured a well-structured daily programme. Mornings were dedicated to on-snow sessions, providing participants with the latest information on course settings, techniques, and related topics. Afternoon sessions focused on theoretical knowledge, covering factors influencing athlete performance, essential coaching skills and tasks, safety aspects such as fencing and course preparation, and video analysis.
Engaging Learning Environment
The seminar fostered a highly engaged learning environment. Open discussions led by FIS experts enabled participating coaches to actively exchange experiences and ideas, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
