1st FIS Development Alpine Coaches Camp 2023

From 17th to 21st April 2023 the first ever FIS Development Programme – Alpine Training Camp focused on the skills development of coaches took place in collaboration with Apex 2100 in Tignes (FRA).
Overall 16 participants from AUS, BIH, GEO, GRE, HUN, LAT, LBN, MAR, NED, NZL, POL, POR, TPE and UKR took part at the coaches basic education session which were organised with on snow and theoretical sessions. A special focus during the camp was the inclusion of alpine para rules regulations and specifics.
All Coaches were trained and supported by FIS experts on their different goals for the camp. Furthermore, a special focus was to develop the connection between the National Ski Associations to increase the transfer of knowledge, evaluate new alpine-national ideas and organise shared coaches possibilities.
