The Saslong Classic Club, a candidate for the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2029, organized a highly efficient and successful speed training camp in Val Gardena from November 27th to 30th, in collaboration with FIS.

Eighty young female athletes from 18 National Ski Associations (ALB; AND; AUT; AUS; CHI; CZE; FRA; GER; HUN; IRL; ISL; ISR; ITA; LAT; MKD; RSA; SLO; SVK) and more than 35 coaches had the opportunity to train on a meticulously prepared slope under perfect weather conditions.

The first training day was dedicated to Super-G, while the last two days focused on Downhill training, with four runs a day for each participant. The training sessions were followed by one Super-G and two Downhill competitions for men and women on December 1st and 3rd.

It was an amazing opportunity for everyone, with a superb speed week and excellent training sessions.Dimitrije Lazarovski, FIS Development Program Director
