FIS Development Programs supported by APEX2100
Jan 17, 2024·Inside FISIn collaboration with APEX2100, an international ski academy, FIS has successfully secured 12 spots for a selection process leading to a unique opportunity. During this process, U16 skiers (Year of Birth: 2008, 2009) will compete for two APEX2100 scholarships. The 12 candidates, consisting of 6 girls and 6 boys, will initially be chosen at FIS Children-approved competitions based on selection criteria communicated to FIS member National Ski Associations (NSAs).
The selected 6 girls and 6 boys will then participate in the final selection week at the APEX2100 facility from April 28th to May 4th, 2024. At the conclusion of this week, one girl and one boy will be awarded a one-year full scholarship at the APEX2100 International Ski Academy.
In addition to this scholarship program, FIS and APEX2100 have agreed to conduct two additional Alpine skiing coaches training sessions. One week will be dedicated to female coaches, and the second will include everyone, including Para Athletes coaches. Both coaching education sessions are scheduled for April 2024.
