FIS Nordic Combined family united in Gangwon

Blue skies at the Alpensia Ski Resort in Korea as the young Nordic Combined athletes competed at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Not only the athletes' support teams and fans, but also the FIS Nordic Combined Family was in the stands. FIS President Johan Eliasch watched the competitions together with FIS Nordic Combined Race Director Lasse Ottesen, the Chairwoman of the FIS Nordic Combined Committee Jacqueline Stark, FIS Sport & Event Director Sandra Spitz as well as the two former Nordic Combined athletes Eric Frenzel and Maxime Laheurte, who were on hand as Athletes Role Models to support the young athletes and give them advice wherever they could.

The Winter Youth Olympic Games come to an end today after a good two weeks of thrills and spills.
