FIS Para Snow Sports Classifier Course
Feb 13, 2024·Inside FISFIS will be hosting a Para Snow Sports Classifier Course from 31 May – 02 June 2024, in Sursee, Switzerland.
The course is open to individuals who are either new to Classification or have experience, and who aspire to be trained to deliver national or International Classification.
There are two Classifier pathways that participants may follow: Para Nordic, or Para Alpine Skiing and Para Snowboard.

Course information
The Classifier Course will take place over three days and will involve theory sessions, classification assessment simulations, and video observation. Some sessions will overlap across the disciplines, while others will be taught separately.
Participants will be taught by FIS Classifier Educators and assessed on their competencies over the three days. The seminar will end with a written exam.
Those participants who display the required competencies of a Classifier and who pass the final exam will be certified as a Classifier Trainee and may proceed along the Classifier Pathway if desired.
