The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was established in 1979, with the women their debut on the World Cup stage in 2011. The World Cup features a variety of events including the individual normal hill, individual large hill and mixed team events. Ski Jumping is the most geographically diverse of all of the FIS disciplines with regular competitions across central Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and North America.

The Ski Jumping season spans from November through the end of March and features approximately 60 competitions each season. Additionally, the sport features a summer series, known as the Summer Grand Prix, allowing athletes to train on the hills without snow during the late summer months. The current World Record jumping distance is held by Austrian Stefan Kraft, who went 253.5 metres on the Ski Flying hill in Vikersund (NOR).

Being a partner with German record football champion FC Bayern Munich since 2017, URSAPHARM has been no stranger to international sports engagements in the past. The company’s activities are rounded off by further football sponsorships as well as other engagements in areas such as tennis, badminton and motorsport.
