Dr. Alexander Ospelt (LIE) was elected by the FIS Congress in Reykjavik (ISL) in 2024. He is the Owner and Member of the Board of Directors of Legacon Trust Establishment since 1997, has worked as a staff member of Liechtenstein’s Permanent Representation at the United Nations in New York, and practiced at the Princely Court of Justice, as well as in reputed law firms in Liechtenstein. 

From 1987 to 1993, he studied at the Faculty of Law at St. Gallen University, Switzerland, and went on to take a degree in European Law at ULB in Brussels, Belgium. He passed the Liechtenstein Bar Examination in 1997 and gained a doctorate in Law from St. Gallen University in 1999. 

Besides his work as a lawyer, Alexander was and is a member of various associations and Boards of Directors. He also held the position of President of the Liechtensteinischer Skiverband from 2016 to 2023.
