While having been elected by the FIS Congress in Reykjavik (ISL), in 2024, Fabien Saguez has been involved with FIS since 2008, when he was first elected as Member of the Sub-Committee for Classification of Alpine Competitors, a position he held until 2012. He is also a Member of the FIS Alpine Skiing Committee, a Member of the FIS Alpine World Cup Sub-Committee since 2010, a Member of the FIS Committee for Advertising Matters since 2012, and an Executive Board Member of IBU since 2022. 

Prior to his current position as President of the French Ski Federation (elected in 2022), Fabien served as the General Sport Manager of the national association from 2006 to 2022, and before that as Director of the Chamonix Sports Club from 2003 to 2006.
