Freddy Keirouz
Freddy Keirouz (LBN) was elected by the FIS Congress in Reykjavik (ISL) in 2024. His engagement as sports executive goes back to the early 2000s, when he was appointed General Secretary of the Lebanese Ski Federation. He also served as an administrative member of the Lebanese Delegation for the Olympic Winter Games of 2006 and 2018, was Head of this same delegation in 2014, an Executive Board Member of the Lebanese Olympic Committee – Chairman of the Marketing Commission – from 2012 to 2015, and an Executive Board Member of the Small Evolving Ski Nations. Freddy became President of the Lebanese Ski and Biathlon Federation in 2020.
Besides his involvement in national and international sport and his professional career in the telecom industry, Freddy has also been very active socially in his home region for many years. He is currently the Vice-President of the Bsharri Municipality Union, where more than 100,000 people live, as well as the Mayor of Bsharri – Cedars, with a population of 25,000.
