Jean-Philippe Rochat
Jean-Philippe Rochat (SUI) was elected by the FIS Congress in Reykjavik (ISL) in 2024. As a ski racer in his youth, he took part in three World University Games and earned the title of Swiss University Champion in 1980 and 1981. Besides his activities as attorney-at-law in Switzerland, he also held the position of Vice-Chairman and Member of the Presidium of Swiss-Ski from 2004 to 2016.
Connecting his professional sphere to his passion for sports, Jean-Philippe was appointed Secretary General of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in 1994, before serving as Chairman or Arbitrator on more than 80 cases from 1999 to 2023. He is also a Founder and Member of the Foundation Board of the International Academy of Sports, Science and Technology in Lausanne.
