May Peus
May Peus (ESP) was elected by the FIS Congress in Reykjavik (ISL) in 2024. He is the President of the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation (SPAINSNOW) since 2014, as well as a member of the board of the Spanish National Sports Association (ADESP) since 2016 – and of which he was elected Vice-President in 2021. In addition to that, he was a member of the Executive Board of the Spanish Olympic Committee from 2016 to 2021.
May’s passion for snow sports goes back to his childhood. His racing career culminated when he integrated the Junior Spanish Ski Team for six seasons, having taken part in the Junior World Championships in Zinal (SUI) in 1990. He then pursued a coaching career in New Zealand from 2000 to 2013. During the same period, he also took on the role as Program Director of the Ski Club Aranès d’Espòrts d’Iuèrn.
In the academic field, May is a graduate in Business Administration, Marketing and Public Relations as well as a postgraduate in Accounting and Marketing of the University of Barcelona.
