Austrian youngster camp Nordic Combined

38 boys and six girls were part of the 12th edition of the Austrian Ski Federation camp for youngsters. A total of 12 staff members tried their best to infect the young athletes with the Nordic Combined virus and especially national team athlete Mario Seidl did his utmost cheer on the young participants and give valuable input.

On schedule were jumping sessions on the jumping hill in Saalfelden and roller-ski training in Hochfilzen as well as a final Team Sprint competition. “The camp was a lot of fun, as always”, responsible ÖSV representative Bernhard Aicher said. “This year, I’d like to highlight the positive development of the girls specifically as well as the constructive exchange between the coaching staff of the different regions. This is important to us as a discipline.”
