The last snow control of the season was positive. In spite of the warm temperatures and a lack of natural snow in Schonach, the organisers were able to prepare the hill and a cross-country track, so that the World Cup finals 2016/17 can be held in the Schwarzwald and that the traditional “Schwarzwaldpokal” will also have an edition in this season.

Snow Controller Joachim Bruder reported that the jumping hill is in perfect condition and well prepared. In terms of the cross-country track, the situation was not easy. The Organising Committee has be able to prepare a 1.5 kilometre course for the races, a 2.5 kilometre course as usual was not possible due to the weather situation.

Please see the following updated track plan also for photos of the current conditions.
