Maxime Laheurte debuted in the World Cup in Sapporo in 2005 and has been a fixture in the World Cup circus ever since. The Frenchman from Gerardmer achieved two podium places in 2006 and has been on the French team for the World Championships and Olympic Games from 2007 onwards until now. His strenghts lies in the ski jumping part most of the time and Maxime was able to test his jumping skills on the ski flying hill in Planica where he pushed his personal best to 212 metres.

Career highlights for Laheurte were the team gold medal with the French team at the World Championships in Val di Fiemme 2013 which was followed up by another bronze medal at the World Championships in Falun in 2015.

Maxime, whose motto is "No fear", likes to go alpine skiing when he's not training or competing in Nordic Combined.
