Sports Director Ivar Stuan has announced the names of four out of at least five final athletes for the World Championships in Lahti today.

After a troubled season so far in which large parts of the team were affected by sickness and injuries, the four nominated athletes are all healthy and starting the last preparations for Finland at the moment.

Nominated are:
- Espen Andersen
- Jørgen Graabak
- Magnus Krog
- Magnus Moan

„We wish to perform on the highest level in Lahti. It is our goal to fight for medals in all four Nordic Combined competitions,“ Stuan said. „All four athletes are healthy as of today. Jørgen is in full training in Trondheim while Espen, Magnus and Magnus will stay in Seefeld for a training camp until Saturday.“

In addition to these four, at least one more athlete will be nominated after the pre-Olympic event coming up in PyeongChang on the weekend.

UPDATE

After a strong performance in Sapporo with a third and fourth place, Mikko Kokslien received the last ticket to Lahti 2017, beating out Jan Schmid and Håvard Klemetsen for the last spot.
