One last competition weekend is schedule before the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld (AUT) will begin early next week and while the Nordic Combined World Cup has not scheduled any competitions to give the top stars time to prepare for the season highlight, the Continental Cup circuit will return with a vengeance.

Again, the men and women of the discipline are reunited for a total of four Individual Gundersen competitions on Saturday and Sunday. About 49 men and 20 women, including the green bib bearers Paul Gerstgraser (AUT) and Tara Geraghty-Moats are on start in Norway and will fight for the last COC points before the big finals in Nizhny Tagil (RUS) at the beginning of March.

Next to Geraghty-Moats, many of the big names of Ladies’ Nordic Combined are on start as well: local hero Gyda Westvold-Hansen, Germany’s JWSC fourth-placed Maria Gerboth and teammate Jenny Nowak and Italy’s Veronica Gianmoena to name just a few.

Start List Ladies

The men’s start list features freshly-minted Junior World Champion Julian Schmid, top COC talents Harald Riiber, Jakob Lange and Sindre Ure Soetvik, as well as Thomas Jöbstl and World Cup athletes Philipp Orter and Antoine Gerard.
