Unfortunately changing wind conditions made a fair jumping round in the morning impossible. Therefore, the jury decided to use Friday’s PCR, which had been dominated by Austria and Norway. With a jump to 104.5 m Christian Deuschl was the lucky winner and started 5 seconds ahead of Sindre Ure Soetvik (105.5 m) and 30 seconds ahead of Harald Johnas Riiber (104 m). With a jump to 102.5 metres, Friday’s winner Paul Gerstgraser was fourth, 38 seconds behind, a gap that the strong cross-country skier was able to close very fast on the track.

While Deuschl and Soetvik were not able to keep up with him, Riiber tried to follow the Austrian. Philipp Orter, who was ninth after jumping, was able to make up his disadvantage step by step, while Riiber had put too much effort in staying with Gerstgraser and had to let go of him on the third lap.

In the end Gerstgraser celebrated yet another clear victory ahead of his teammate Orter and the Norwegian Lars Ivar Skaarset, who was also on third place on Friday. Germany’s Jakob Lange convinced with an outstanding cross-country performance and was able to improve from 38th after jumping to 4th after the cross-country part. Young Slovenian Vrhovnik ended up on fifth place, Riiber completed the top six athletes.
