Samuel Costa returns to the World Cup in Val di Fiemme, where the fifth stage of the Nordic Combined World Cup will be hosted this year. The 26 year old’s return is not the only athlete news compared to Otepää: a team of eight local heroes will compete in Predazzo and Lago di Tesero.

In addition to Alessandro Pittin and Raffaele Buzzi, who have been fixtures in the World Cup this season, also Lukas Runggaldier will be on start, who was confirmed after his good season debut in Estonia. In addition, Luca Gianmoena, Aaron Kostner, Manuel Maierhofer and Denis Parolari, who we recently saw in the Continental Cup, will be joining the team.

Two Individual Gundersen events and one Team Sprint are on schedule on the upcoming weekend.
