Learning Korean 101 | FIS Nordic Combined

The Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea are on our doorsteps. In this edition of "Behind the Scenes", we, with the help of Korean Nordic Combined athlete Je-Un Park, tested how prepared the athletes are for the main event of this winter and asked them to speak a little Korean...let's just say with more or less success. Nordic Combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in both cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The first major competition in Nordic combined was held in 1892 in Oslo at the first Holmenkollen Ski Festival, an event still held annually. The sport was included at the 1924 Winter Olympics, and has been on the programme ever since.
